I enjoy spending time outside & growing plants so designing the layout for a garden was a natural fit. I set to designing the space shortly after moving in winter of 2013. The goal is to create a space that leads you around each corner to surprise & delight as you discover a variety of plants & interests. I enjoy creating spaces that feel cozy, natural, & familiar while evoking a calm happiness. As a natural extension of design, landscaping became a personal challenge to continue learning & growing as an artist. While providing a relaxing creative outlet.

My favorite time spent is outdoors.

I see the garden as an opportunity to design a space and paint it with the color and texture of plants. Creating a lush green retreat inspired by the gardens I’ve had the opportunity to visit and the beauty of our natural landscape. My goal is to create spaces that provide a relaxing outlet from the busy world. Creating interest that leads one around each corner to discover a variety of plants & interests along the way.
